Commentary

To help combat spam, we collect visitors’ IP addresses and browser user agents when they leave comments on the site.

Gravatar uses an anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) to detect whether you are using it. In the media

Uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) to the website is not recommended. Using the website’s images, visitors can download and extract location information.
