A Core i7-13700K CPU is a 16-core physical processor, 8 cores of which are P cores that can reach a speed of 5.4 GHz for high performance, and 8 cores of which are E cores capable of reaching 4.2 GHz for situations where performance is not as important as efficiency.
The Intel Core i7–13700K Processor
Among the retail models available, there is a model that comes in a box with a single processor it does not come with a cooler. On the front, we can only see the brand and model of the processor as well as its generation; however, we are able to see the integrated heat spreader of the processor through the perforations in cardboard. Due to the fact that they share the same LGA1700 socket, the processors of this generation share the same rectangular shape as processors of previous generations.
It is important to note that Intel did not supply any memory or motherboard in order for us to test the Core i7-13700K; however, it is compatible with previous platforms.
Cinebench R20: Core i9 – 12900K vs Core i7–13700K
The motherboard used was the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO motherboard with 2×16 GB CORSAIR Vengeance RGB DDR5 6.000 MHz memory and be quiet! To analyze the performance of Core i7-12600K and Core i9 – 12900, we created almost the same hardware configuration as we did for Core i7-12600K and Core i9 – 12900.
As of its R20 version, Cinebench is an advanced synthetic test which measures the processing power of a computer. This is a very interesting test, since a Core i9 – 12900K gets 753 points (omitting the 12600K due to the obvious fact that they are competing in different leagues) when it comes to single-core testing and 10,450 points when it comes to multithreaded testing, while this Core i7 – 13700 K outperforms in everything except all-core testing by a small margin.
Using the AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT card as a benchmark, 3DMark Time Spy measures the performance of DirectX12 graphics API as well as a wide variety of GPUs.
The Intel Core i7–11700K is a powerful processor
Hence, we can conclude that the Intel Core i7-11700K is a powerful processor that offers significant improvements over its predecessor, the Core i7-10700K. In our tests, we found that the 11700K scored 7,879 points in the single-core Cinebench R20 test and 34,764 points in the multi-core Cinebench R20 test.
Compared to the Core i7-10700K, which scored 7,069 points in the single-core Cinebench R20 test as well as 32,513 points in the multi-core Cinebench R20 test, this is a significant improvement. As well as the 11700K performing well in the 3DMark Fire Strike and Crossmark tests, the 11700K also performed well in other benchmark tests.
